Mayfair 2008
Mayfair took place under warm sunny skies this year and community spirit was in full force. Students, teachers, and parents raised £5,400 for charity through food sales, games, face painting, and other fun activites.
Each division will receive £1800 to donate to their designated charity, which will go to the following organizations:
- The Upper School will donate £600 each to: One-to-One, an organization in Chertsey that helps people with special needs, the Music in Hospitals program at Walton Hospital, and the Slough and Thames Valley Foyer homeless shelter for young adults.
- The Lower School will give £1800 to the White Lodge Children's Centre in Chertsey.
- The Middle School will share £1800 among: Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA), Save the Children, 2041 Antartica Expedition, Hope and Homes & Romania Children's Relief (RCR).
Many thanks to all who participated in this wonderful day and who generously contributed their time and positive energy.
